Our Mission

The Campaign to Invest in America’s Workforce calls for greater and more effective federal investments in our nation’s skills so more U.S. businesses can find the skilled workers they need to compete globally, and so all U.S. workers can share in and contribute to our country’s economic prosperity.

We Advocate for Investment

Campaign members take joint positions and conduct joint advocacy, under the name of the Campaign, on federal budget and appropriations issues across a range of skills programs.

We Share Information

The Campaign provides a venue through which members can share information about federal policies on which they are working in order to raise general awareness across the broader skills community and to enlist support beyond a group’s usual constituency.

We Collaborate on Reform

While the Campaign does not take positions on reform or authorization issues, it provides a venue through which individual groups can work on specific joint policy positions, on an “opt in” basis.
